Director of Mission Search
In the fall of 2023, Phil Young announced he was following the Lord's leadership to oversee a new ministry that partners Carson-Newman University with Morgan County Correctional Complex.

Following proper guidelines, the Administrative Team for the Knox County Association of Baptists met and began forming a search team that would oversee selecting a candidate for the Director of Mission position.
​
After numerous meetings and much prayer, the Administrative Team reached out to members of churches throughout the Knox County Association of Baptists to form the Search Team.

How to apply for the Director of Mission position
Our hope is that every applicant has prayerfully considered and sought God's guidance before applying for the open Director of Mission position.
To be considered for the Director of Mission position, please submit your resume to the Director of Mission Search Team in one of these three ways.
1 - Email your resume to KCABsearch@gmail.com | Please place your name in the subject bar of the email and attach a copy of your resume to the email. This is the preferred manner of receiving resumes for this position.
2- Mail your resume to the Knox County Association of Baptists office at the following address: P.O. Box 11028 Knoxville, TN 37939. Please address the envelope to the DOM Search Team to ensure it makes it to the search team.

3- Hand deliver your resume to the Knox County Association of Baptists office at 7709 Westland Dr. Knoxville, TN 37919. This should be done during regular business hours, and your resume should be delivered in a sealed envelope marked for the DOM Search Team.

Please note that emailing, mailing, or hand-delivering your resume directly to a DOM Search Team member will not be viewed as a proper submission and will not be added to the collected resumes submitted in one of the three ways listed above. Please ensure you submit your resume using one of the three ways above.
