Millie has seen many changes in the Association in 30+ years of ministry service here. She began working in 1988 as a part-time receptionist and quickly became secretary to the DOM. Over the years she has learned every position here, and is a living history record of KCAB and Knoxville churches. Her love for Christ and others is evident in her servant-minded work ethic. There is no task too small or too much trouble for her to take on. She is the engine of our office and ready to assist to accomplish our ministry work.
Financial & Ministry Assistant
Tom Hodges has been serving at Montgomery Village since 2005. He served on staff as children, youth, education and senior adult minister for churches in western Kentucky and Maryville prior to coming home to Knoxville. The variety of these ministries prepared Tom to develop relationships and an understanding of all age groups that he has the privilege to serve at the Center. His keen desire in ministry is to cause the residents of his community not only to profess faith in Christ, but to see them enjoy and prosper in a relationship with Jesus.
Director of Montgomery Village Baptist Center
Karen has been serving part-time since 2010 as the Assistant to the DOM, but she wears many hats at the Association. She performs all the publishing and communications duties and many any other tasks for our churches and ministries to meet their needs. Karen is a UT graduate in Public Relations and Journalism, so her skills are a good fit for her work at KCAB.
She is a master gardener, mom, and grandmother and married to Mike, who is a minister.
Assistant to DOM
Tuesday through Thursday
Shannon joined the KCAB team in 2004 with a growing desire to make disciples and minister to the disadvantaged. What a surprise to find the inner city to be a ripe mission field of adults and children waiting to experience the love of Christ. With a team of committed volunteers, Shannon serves the people in that area with a great passion. Shannon and his wife Jean Ann, have three energetic teenagers that sustain them in a busy lifestyle of running to games and events.

Alan loves to see kids experience Christ for the first time at camp. Combining his love for the outdoors and his love for Jesus gives Alan energy and enthusiasm for the never-ending work of camp director. He has served in camping ministry since the early 80's and joined KCAB as the camp director in 2006. Developing young adults through the camp counselor experience is an important priority for Alan. He serves others year-round through retreats and ministry projects at camp, and welcomes camp visitors with excitement whether they are long-time Ba Yo Ca friends, or first-timers.
