Camp Ba Yo Ca

In 1958 the Knox County Association of Baptists bought 150 acres in Wears Valley that became the permanent location of what is still Camp Ba Yo Ca today.

In the last 50 years, Camp Ba Yo Ca has grown from 150 acres of land, six small cabins and one bathhouse with a four week camp season to 350 acres with twelve cabins and three retreat facilities and a ten week camp season.

Our Mission is to invest in Knoxville by developing leaders, enriching churches and reaching a generation for Christ.

At Camp we want children to have the type of fun experience they will never forget.
Most of all, we want children to accept Christ.

How Can My Church Get Involved?
Churches can help in many ways including fundraising, sending children to camp, or sponsoring mission projects including facilities maintenance.
We also have many opportunities for summer staff to minister to those who attend the camp.

Churches can also reserve the use of our facilities during the Fall, Winter, and Spring months to host camps, retreats, staff meetings, and more.

How Can an Individual Get Involved?
Individuals can contact camp staff to get involved in facility maintenance, to serve at camp, or by sponsoring a “Child to Camp” scholarship.
