Habitat for Humanity Build

We would like to share with you an opportunity to partner with Habitat for Humanity. Knoxville Habitat for Humanity partners with families who are hardworking people who have a goal of homeownership. However, due to market conditions they are not able to fully afford a home.  Working with Habitat for Humanity they meet 3 criteria: a need for housing, the ability to pay an affordable 20-30 year no-interest mortgage and the willingness to partner. Habitat for Humanity has approached KCAB about the possibility of an all Baptist build. This means that KCAB churches would come together to complete the build of a house for one family. This is a great opportunity for the Baptist churches to have a positive presence in our community. Allowing us to show a tangible expression of God’s love to people in our city in a time of great disunity and skepticism in our culture. Join us on Thursday, July 13 at 12pm to receive a general overview of this opportunity! We will be meeting at the KCAB office and lunch will be provided. If you are interested in coming, please RSVP.
