Men's Ministry and Disaster Relief

Mr. Bill Irving, Director

The Men's Ministry of our association grows stronger each day. Under the Direction of Mr. Bill Irving, there is a higher level of involvement of men in ministry in Knox County than ever before.

During the past year, there have been quarterly Men's Rallies where the men have come to worship and learn how they can be "On Mission" in Knox County and around the world.

Watch the "Reminder" for dates of future rallies and Men's Ministry events.

Within hours after the attack on the World Trade Center last year, Knox County Disaster Relief members were on the scene. Over the next five weeks, our teams fed almost 100,000 meals to police, firemen and people who lived nearby.

KCAB Disaster Relief trailer

Through the initiative of Mr. Larry Triplett, a member of First Concord and a leader in Disaster Relief in our association and with the TBC, we were given this brand new trailer that will be equipped with chain saws and basic carpentry equipment to help our disaster relief teams in Knox County be ready to respond to disasters that could occur in our area. We now need to equip this trailer with proper equipment. If you would like to make a donation to the "Knox County Disaster Relief Trailer" you may do so by making your check payable to Knox County Association of Baptists and marking it for this purpose. Logos will soon be applied to the trailer.
