Multihousing Ministry

There are more than 115,000 people out of a total popuation of 385,000 in Knox County who live in some type of multihousing setting. According to the North American Mission Board, only 5 to 7% of multihousing residents are actively involved in any church.

Mrs. Caroll Webb has directed this ministry over the past three years. Since Caroll is now full time director of Montgomery Village Baptist Center, this leadership position is now vacant. Caroll continues to give information to churches about multihousing ministry.

Currently there are 30 churches in Knox County Association involved in multihousing ministry. Each year approximately 100 people are saved through these ministries.

1. A volunteer or possible part time Director
2. Prayer
3. Increased giving by our churches so this ministry can be fully funded with a Director
4. Volunteers with a heart to reach people in multihousing settings.
